Was going to share this with friends, but can't see anything online about the Beer Story brewery/project at all. Is there something, somewhere to see?

You can earn that as an ordinary food processing operative. Surely, someone with Brewing skills, knowledge and experience is worth more than that? If you pay less than average, that is all your are going to get :)

Homebrewer to 12BBL! #-o

Thats a big ask no matter how good you think you are! Pay a decent wage and get an experienced brewer!

£20-26k on the craft scene is about right for a brewer. Certainly in my experience. Unless you get in with a big-name commercial brewery, you're not gonna get decent pay.

If a 20k brewing position for someone with no pro brewing experience came up near me I'd jump at it even though it would mean tightening the belt a little.

I've looked at nano brewing and tbh think I'd be doing 12hr days 7 days a week to hit minimum wage

Yes, in many parts of this country these days, jobs are few and far between, let alone getting "the living wage".
Without patience, life becomes difficult and the sooner it's finished, the better.
