Hi guys,
Just a quick question. My all grain milk stout has finished at 1020 from 1068. I dont mind it so gonna crack on and keg it. i used 500g of lactose, a bit too much? Would you add/do anything to fight the sweetness? like a dry hop or additional flavour?
Actually the more i drink the sample the more i like it lol. might bang some coffee and cocoa in for another week
milk stout finished high
Re: milk stout finished high
Well, I would think the higher final gravity is down to the lactose, but if you like it, that's fine!
Not a fan of sweet beers myself, so can't really advise on the best way to reduce sweetness.
