Magnum hop error

Post by Intothevoid » Thu Apr 19, 2018 6:18 pm

Has anyone used these for'late additions to the boil and flame'out?
Ive ballsed up and thought they were a substitute to galaxy (yes I know) :(

Now thinking will a hop tea and a load of dry hopping save this potentially bland beer or has anyone here used magnum hops for a SMASH and had good results?

If you used pilsner malt, you could call it 'Magnum Pi..lsner' and the amazing name will distract you from the bland taste

Haha thanks for the help I think steviebobs

Think it's gonna have to have a big dry hop and drank fairly quickly which shouldn't be a problem

does it taste bland?!

I like magnum myself.. but if you don't then yeah any of those methods will change it. you may have more luck blending with another beer though to dilute the flavour.
dazzled, doused in gin..
