Welcome to Jim's Brewing Forum

Post by Jim » Sun Aug 22, 2004 2:32 pm

Welcome to my forum on home brewing.

In looking round on the internet I've found that there's a lack of discussion forums related to brewing English-style Real Ale at home, so I've decided to start one myself!

Please feel free to read or post in any of the forums.

I'm a believer in sharing one's hard-earned knowledge with others; that way, we all benefit.

Cheers :) ,
Jim

Hi Jim,
I liked your website, some good tips and ideas there. I brew with extract at the moment, but I'd like to try all grain brewing sometime. Where you get your ingredients from?

Bill,

I generally buy from either 'The Home Brew Shop' or 'Leyland Home Brew', both are on-line shops. Both give good, prompt service and are competitively priced.

You can find links to them http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jim.dunleavy/links.htm

Best wishes,
Jim

If I remember correctly, Bill was a dummy test account, so I was talking to myself there. :flip: :flip:

So on this, the oldest of posts, in all the years you've been brewing, Jim/Bill, do you still have the "holy s@$t, did I really make that?" moments or do they fade with time?

If you don't have them as often, when was the last time?

Answering as my alter ego:

I have them all the time.

Incidentally, Bill's avatar is from the new avatar gallery that you can choose from in your profile now. Silly isn't it? :=P
