The Manchester Homebrewers Group are having their next meetup on Sunday 15th September at 3pm in The Beermoth (70 Tib Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester).
Following on from a couple of requests from attendees to hold a feedback session, for our next meeting we're holding a group Q&A session, where everyone can come together and ask any questions that they have. Answers will be open to the floor so expect a wealth of ideas coming your way!
Feel free to bring along a couple of bottles, share them round with the group and get feedback on your brews.
Hopefully see some there!

Re: Manchester Homebrewers September Meeting
That's a really, really good idea. Approximately how many people show up?
Re: Manchester Homebrewers September Meeting
We have about 15 regular members, but are always looking for more!

Re: Manchester Homebrewers September Meeting
Edward, I have the inaugural meeting of a local brew club next Friday and am looking for ideas concerning content & structure. Do you have any "templates" that yours have used that I could, ahem, "borrow"? I want to make sure that it gives everyone a good experience so that the whole thing grows.

Re: Manchester Homebrewers September Meeting
great to hear a new club being set up!!!
Structure (albeit quite loose!) goes something like;
-introductions and hellos
-main feature, e.g. Q&A session, inviting a local brewer to talk about a specific topic (Dominic from Thornbridge gave a brilliant talk on water treatment)
-ideas for the next meeting
-bottle swap, tasting and feedback (although this is done throughout we focus on this at this point)
-AOB
If organised, we also have a brewing competition (everyone brews the same style and submits their entry for the group to try and rate)
Hope that helps,
Edward

Re: Manchester Homebrewers September Meeting
Thanks Edward, are they all AG brewers or do you have a mix?
