Tried a glass, bit early but no patience, tastes and smells great, best smelling beer I've made, bit too bitter, this may mellow when its had a couple of weeks in cornie, if it stays like this I would reduce the bittering 90 min hops down considerably if I make it again.

Excellent! I'd imagine the bitterness will still be mellowing, so it should get even better in a bit :-)

Sounds good and yes, the bittering should smooth out a bit in the next couple of weeks - or you'll just get used to it with repeated "testings" :D

Well this has turned out to be my best yet, IMO, it has a bit of a haze, but I did forget protofloc. Will deff make this again and now thinking can I repeat the process with another single hop? Open to suggestions :D

It has a great hoppy taste, I would say spicy, but not as in spicy beer, but spicy hop if you know what I mean! I had a couple of mates round, who normally only go for dark heavy beers, but they were well impressed. :D :D :D

I've just got hold of 250g of Apollo and I'm liking the sound of this beer.

I've run out of wheat malt, could I swap it for some flaked wheat and up the pale malt to compensate?
