Just heating up the HLT for a Schnieder Weisse ish clone

Nice one, snap indeed. Sadly i am going to have to fall back to dryed munich yeast as my past sell by date WLP300 is deid. C'est la vie. Hope you have a good brewday.

Dirt. My wlp300 was only about a month past it's tube's BBE. :roll: Seemed to have fermented out the 1L DME starter. I'll keep my finger's crossed. I do have a pack of WB-06 in the freezer just in case! :D

Well it's all tucked up in the spare room. All went according to the plan/recipe so well happy!

wlp300 starter fermented out. The tube was BBE 27th of Jan but seems to have rermented out ok! :?

The irish moss seems to have worked better today. I usually sling it in dry with 15 mins to go but went for 20mins as I have had less than excellent results with it. I forgot to order more protofloc with Paul the other day but will definitely be going back to it next order! :D

All in all a wicked brewday and all finished before 13:30hrs :D Now to watch England thrash the Scotts!

Nice one! The yeast will soon wake up... that strain has a habit of exploding into life!! (and then all over the floor via the arlock :roll: :lol: )

It could have gone either way but I think England need to stand up and be counted against France or we'll get mullered! :? :?
