Oh yes! :D :D :D I had a pint of an all simcoe pale at my local last month (can't remember the brewery for the life of me!) and it was very good! one of the few commersial beers I've had for a long time where i got a massive hit of hop aroma as it was being pulled! :D

I'm not sure what the fermentor hops will bring to this beer! I was thinking of dry hopping it after fermentation but I've got a busy couple of weeks ahead so though f3ck it! i'll have a go! :D

Tell me about it1 I think my plan back in June to not brew untill the new system was fully operational was a bit ambitious! :D I'm almost there but will need at least another month to iron out some of the details! :D

Where did you get the Simcoe? I really want to try it but the UK suppliers appear to be out of stock.

I got it from Rob @ The Malt Miller. It was a while ago, it's just been sat in the hop freezer! It was some of the best smelling hops I've ever used! After breaking up the dried flowers my hands were yellow with the resiny goodness! :D

I'll be getting a truck load more when it's back in stock! Hopefully it'll be new season as well! :D

Just had a taste of the SG sample I just took! Wow! Cracking GOP flavour! It's still very green but I recon it's gonna be a belter! It's down to 1.013 so about 6%! :D

Plenty of body! Not as bitter as I thought it might be! But then again I've been drinking brewdog beers for the last few nights! Lol

Cheers
