Wherry brew

I made a wherry kit 7 weeks ago and didn't post about it as I tried something that I thought might be a bit trumpy. I added a 30 gm hop tea to the initial fermentation, the dry hopped with another 30 gms after a week. It really didn't smell or taste that special when I bottled it but patience is a virtue. 2 weeks in the warm then 3 weeks in the cold has worked magic as far as I'm concerned. Plenty of hop on the nose and palate, The hop I used was Cascade, not really a traditional English Real Ale hop but I reckon its bang on! ABV is 4.2 % so it's a nice, sensible drink too.

Sounds interesting, I just found a year old bottle of wherry which was brewed short and dry hopped with ekg, it tastes fabulous. Despite moving onto ag I'm tempted to brew another and just stick it away for a year
