Brewdog/Cloudwater NEIPA

Brewed my first NEIPA today and loved a bottle of the recent Brewdog/Couldwater collaboration so decided to use their recipe from DIY Dog as a starting point. Brewday went well and was pretty straightforward considering it only had 1 hop addition, no protofloc, etc. Simples. Mash was THICK with all the oats even at my normal grain/water ratio. Almost broke out into a sweat stirring it!!

15kg Propino (first time using this for me)
2.5kg Flaked oats
1.8kg Torrified wheat

60 min boil
100g Mosaic @ flameout

300g Citra pellets @ day 2
300g Mosaic pellets @ day 2

The Yeast Bay Vermont @ 19c for 48hrs then 22c for 72hrs then chill for kegging

1064 & 60 Litres

Hit gravity & volume spot on but was ever so slightly down on volume after I'd dumped out the "gravy" from the conical. Can't wait to taste this one.

I know these are supposed to be low bitterness, how many IBUs do you think you'll get from just the flameout addition?

Interested to hear how it turns out :)

Beersmith says 12.

I put in at flameout and steeped at boiling (no chill to 80, etc) for 20 mins so think that's about right.

The smell from the boiler was RIDICULOUS! Exactly like the original so I'm keen to see how this plays out.

It's an alternative base malt. Can't comment as today's my first brew with it.

60 Litres.

That's my normal output. I can do 40L but it's no extra effort to do 60L. I have the half barrel Chronical so can do both.

I've got the half barrel from Malt Miller. Finding a fridge to fit it in was a pain in the bum but now I have one it's mega. Works a treat. BrewPi controls it all.

Any chance you could send a pic of it / set up. ( sorry to divert from the initial thread )
I've bought all stuff for this brew plan making it this week. Just not got that malt. Have you used the yeast before?

That is rather amazing. That's the setup I'm after when I get my new brew space. As for brewpi no idea what that is.
