Had a glass or two of this over last few days to provide refreshment whilst having to drive later in the day, it is very nice. I had a Nanny state while I was out, and I think (biased of course) I prefer my own!

I often think clones at home often come out better than the original. Perhaps it's the flash pasteuriser that getting all the flavour. Heat changes a lot of things.

I have just finished a noboil on a standard recipe. Buckets full of flavour.

Back on topic, will you make it again?

Think I will, it's perfectly quaffable and you can barely tell it is 1% alcohol.

Will have a go at an equivalent hoppy low alccohol lager for the summer as well. Will report back, but I'm a bit busy with building my wood fired 71L boiler for big batches!

On slightly higher strength stuff tonight, so the pic on page 2 is all you get!

Morning,

Great thread. I think I might try this myself. I run and cycle a lot on the weekend and find just having a beer or two causes me to become fairly dehydrated so I tend to only drink on a Sunday night.

Having the option to have a 'beer' on a warm evening without having to worry about dehydration or a thick head would be great! I'm feeling inspired!

Cheers,
James

It turned out very nice, and in terms of was it drinkable - it has all gone. Making the brew dog nanny state version next, ordered all the hops in from Crossmyloof but been too busy with a number of life/family matters to get a brew on!

Did the Nanny state recipe yesterday, forgot to check OG but stuck my ispindel in which said 1003 which usually means about 1008-1010 which is about right. Dumped the dry hops in this morning and will leave until the sludge settles in the bottom of the bucket!
