Hi Nosferatu. Did you manage to get a McEwan's or Lorimers scotch clone? I'm just starting Biab and I'm hoping to eventually muddle my my way to something near to one, fingers crossed!

A bit of thread necromancy , really sorry I missed your question Wekslap . I never did manage to get a true Scotch clone. About the closest I've got was a German Altbier attempt which was similar in taste but too strong for a Scotch. I took a bit of a break from brewing for a bit due to other stuff getting in the way and our kitchen being done out but this pesky virus has spurred me back into action so might well have another crack at it.
And they wonder why we drink ...
