Hi Brewers
With the coopers canned kits you don't need to boil anything just add water, sugar and yeast. I'm thinking of trying to make my own no boil kit using liquid malt extract adding hop oil or hop extract and not boiling anything would this work?
Cheers

I see no reason that it wouldn't work.Brewer wrote:Hi Brewers

You can get hop extracts to add bitterness so no problem there. I don't know if LME requires a boil for any reason other than to extract hop bitterness.

i guess make sure you get isomerised hop extract for bittering, then use hop aroma oils to emulate late additions..
dazzled, doused in gin..

It doesn't - I quite often add LME straight into the FV.

Anyone tried this yet? I am interested in the results.
