Post by drakey182 » Wed Aug 12, 2015 10:59 pm

Hi hope someone can help.
I've been tasked to look for something close to websters Sam brown ale.
I've found they were from Halifax Yorkshire but finding a clone is proving difficult.
I'm told it almost had a caramac bar taste any one wanna help.
Oh I have a grainfather as a prize riding on it lol.

Well its got a ag of 135 and a final of 113 and a colour 9f 95

Then there's this https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=2Cw ... le&f=false

Which gives clues to what hops and grain bills they liked to use in other beers. Guessing simple is better with loads of caramel sugar syrup in there

Still doesn't make sense! Do you mean OG 1.035 and FG 1.013? Is the colour EBC or SRM?
