Both working on breastfeeding? Now that's a first.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Hey mate if you pop back onto the Aussie forums there's a real need for good bags. The Craftbrewer bag is made of nylon and doesn't drain well. Started off popular but complaints about the poor drainage etc. The material seems to get blocked or the weave closes up after heating or something. The other guy, Gryphon Brewing in Perth has gone out making bags.

Cheers

As soon as we're ready we can put a push on.

Thanks for the heads up.

Ok, we're reopening for anyone who is interested, it's a new system though, limited slots will be sold weekly for a deposit, you get your slot then spec up your bag and then pay the balance.

Check out the facebook page for the full story.

Opened tonight on www.custombiab.com.

There will be three slots for sale, with up to two BIAB bags and two hop bags per slot, there are four slots in total one is already gone. If you only want one bag then do that, but if you know someone else who's waiting, get together with them for the order and maximise the slot.

I bought one of these slots. Paid for it and it was the last I heard. I have now started a dispute with PayPal to try and get my money back. OK it was only 5 euro's but its the principal. I've since gone to another supplier and had excellent service.

There was a post on their Facebook page that they are now closed due to family illness. I've ordered and paid for a bag I'm still waiting on.

Shameless commercialism here, sorry.

I make some bags for BIAB, three standard sizes, ex-stock. Not custom sizes though, like EoinMag, but if they'll fit your pot they'll work fine. For pots of 40cm (40L), 44cm (60L) or 50cm (100L) diameter.

Had my bag from custom. Its the dogs. In my case I also got a cheap pully rig from ebay. Just mash out and drain. Will be needing a new one soon, just because I came across a humungous ex army catering put at a carboot that's itching to go stovetop, and my bag from eoin a bit big.. Mind you probably be fine if I tuck the loops in
Just like trying new ideas!

Hi Guys & Galls
I am just starting out on all grain brewing. I have been brewing kits for 15 years and adding grains in BIB.
The idea of using a big net curtain in the brew kettle has just struck me a being so obvious why didnt i think of that before.
After only having done 2 all-grain brews, this would stop all the hops from clumping around the element and make cleaning soooo much easier - this could work in the mash tub as well.
off to dunlem mill at the weekend and will give it a try.
