Hi All

Am looking into buying a mash tun and all the kit after christmas but would like to try a peroni clone , am wondering if anyone has done ths before , I seen this on the net and was also wondering if its any good ?

Pilsner Malt 4500g - weyermann
flaked maze 700g
caramel malt 200g
65g saaz hops , @ 60min boiL

Batch size 26.5 ltrs
Boil size 31.8 ltrs
boil time 60 mins

Am totally new to all this so any help would be great

To get it like a lager you need to use the right yeast and lager the beer after fermentation. Both lagers I've tried have come out dodgy due to (I think) a dodgy fermentation though - put me off but will try again in the new year...

This brew sounds good!

Try Saflager W-34/70 Yeast with it and ferment at the right temp.

If you do brew in a bag you don't need a mash tun!
