I use cubes like the one in the picture above, I have managed to find 25, 20 and 10 litre 15's are listed as a size but I have never found any actually for sale. I sometimes brew 12 litre batches there only me drinking and I like some variety.

If you know were I might get 15 litre cubed please post a link :)

Many thanks. aamcle

it's one of the "official" sizes but as you say hard to find, that one from Cromwell's looks good fantastic but so £££.

as a side note, as the cube is a lovely sanitised container i now ferment the wort in it, so i always underfill them to make sure there's headspace for the krausen. so using a 25L cube for a 23L brew. but minimal hassle is very important to my brewing.. :p
Great thanks for that. Just ordered two. I plan to trial brew three batches in one day. Ferment one as normal and store the other two for when i need to ferment again.

The Malt Miller sells silicon hose and hose barbs, the hose pushes onto the barb which then screws into the tap. (if you have a tap with a screw thread).

Just started using 5l no chillcubes. I am doing lots of small SMaSH brews. £5.50 for two delivered from lucemill, they even sell replacement caps. I have also been using the 12l ones from amazon.
This is one of the 5l one i am currently using

I could have sworn mine were 12l. I checked my amazon account and it said I bought 10l ones.

..and turned up within 24hrs!

same product line as the rest. same dimensions as the 10L ones, just taller. and for some reason a smaller lid/opening. great stuff
