Aren't they pretty much the same thing? Protafloc is just Irish moss in tablet form.

Essentially the same, although I think they are derived from different seaweeds, dependent on their global manufacturing location.

Protafloc granules are my copper finings of choice, give great control over dosage.

Both work, imho protafloc appears to work more rapidly in the kettle, 1/3-1/2 tab is ample for a 5 gallon brew..
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..
Conditioning: nowt
Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager
Drinking: dry one minikeg left in the store
Coming Soon Lots planned for the near future nowt for the immediate :(
