Breaking Booze

Post by Becclesbrewer » Mon Jul 18, 2016 4:49 pm

This is a great book for getting going on a really tight budget. Uses the 5 litre container and balloon method. Supermarket ingredients throughout (other than super-wine yeast compound) so I found it easy to get going without battling unwanted yeast. The results were surprisingly tasty, very alcoholic and in some cases ready in 3 weeks (alcoholic lemonade and ginger beer.

Borrowed the book for free on Amazon lending library...

I was showing the book to a friend yesterday and noticed that the price had been reduced to 99p until the 9th of August!

Since you joined this forum, all of your 3 posts are promoting this book, so I suspect you may be connected with it in some way.

It may still be a good book, but it's as well that people are aware of this.
