Post by Rhodesy » Wed Jan 18, 2017 8:48 pm

Would anyone happen to know what screw on's I would need on this reg for both Gas out threads? Thinking a JG 3/8" FML but just in case anyone has any experience?

Much appreciated

if its UK sourced/built i would expect it to be 3/8" bsp?
My welders reg certainly is,

fwiw 3/8" outside diameter gas/beer line is 1/4" on its inner diameter, so a 1/4" hosetail is a good fit and when secured with a jubilee clip makes a good gas tight connection.

any plumbers merchants near by you could test the thread with brass bsp locknuts or fittings for thread compatibility.

using gas tape (thicker version of plumbers ptfe) on whatever fitting you apply is a good idea too.
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..
Conditioning: nowt
Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager
Drinking: dry one minikeg left in the store
Coming Soon Lots planned for the near future nowt for the immediate :(

You could remove the adaptors that are fitted and put in something like this (with a little PTFE tape) straight into the regulator body:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1

That's assuming your regulator has the standard female 1/4" BSP thread sockets...
Ready to go: Malt extract, grain, yeast and a freezer full of hops.
Fermenting: Nowt.
Conditioning: Nelson's Revenge.
Drinking: Stop Wining, Firsty Gold, DarkMun, Yankee, Porter, ApAht, Cider, Mead, Tripel, Elderflower beer, Gluten Free, beer, wine, port, gin, beer, wine, port, gin...

Thanks guys, I have some JG fittings or various sizes in my spares box so will have a better idea when it arrives. My old regulator died on me and with some Christmas money I had left I opted for this one as having 2 different pressures appeals without going for a full out Gas board
