Corny keg post size

Post by m_rawdin » Sun May 21, 2017 9:56 pm

I want to buy a spanner to help get my corny keg posts off and have been looking around on Google for what size to get. There seems to be 2 thoughts, 22mm and 7/8 which are pretty similar anyway. 22mm are far easier to get hold of, does it make much difference which size you get?

I got myself a cheap set of box spanners from Toolstation for £8. I found that on my kegs the 19mm fit the posts but most people report 22mm like Coffeeuk.

Either way, I think they're a worthwhile investment as they are easier to use in the restircted space at the top of your keg, will save the skin on your knuckles and one of them will fit your keg posts.
