CO2 supplier in Northamptonshire / Bedfordshire area

Post by Tomp » Sat Jun 10, 2017 10:23 am

Can anyone recommend a CO2 supplier in the Northants / Beds area? Looking to start using a corny and trying to plan ahead.

It started with kits to save money and now look........!!!

Lots of kit, too many ingredients and not enough time, but a patient wife.... who loves my beer...........

Could be worse :-)

Is Luton too far?
If not, try Compton Gas. £25 deposit and £20 for the gas, IIRC.

I struggled as well and ended up getting mine from a hobby weld agent - Auto home recovery in Northampton.

Hmmm. Are the hobby / weld ones food grade, or is there no such thing?

Hobbyweld have Co2 that's classified food grade but in my opinion Co2 is Co2.

Thanks folks. I've found a local supplier for Adams gas and going to have a word with them.

Thanks for the heads up on Compton Gas. Very helpful bloke so picking a cylinder up on Saturday. Bit out of the way, but at least they responded.

Others just won't deal with home brewers, can't be bothered or haven't bothered to get back to me.
