12L Cornie Copies

Post by hophit » Tue Aug 22, 2017 10:24 am

My kegerator fridge isn't big enough for the normal 19l Cornelius kegs. My solution was the Chinese made 12l, 3 gallon (US) kegs. They are good because they are a bit bigger than the normal half-size 9l ones. Despite warnings I have seen about the build quality of the Chinese copies I have to say they have been excellent - can't fault them.

I originally got them from the homebrewshop.co.uk BUT they don't have them in stock anymore:

I need a couple more, but the only place I can find them is on Alibaba but you have to buy a job lot of them. Does anybody know where I can get a couple, or have any for sale?

This is what they look like https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... qkVly5&s=p

Try Aliexpress which is catered more for end customers rather than wholesale.

I did look on Ali express, but by the time you add in shipping they work out at over £100 each. :o

I'd stick with AEB kegs, for peace of mind, myself. Have you considered asking your home brew shop to order a couple 12L kegs next time they place an order for stock?
