Kegerator Top for Free!

Post by Rogerdodge » Mon Jan 08, 2018 6:06 pm

I recently had to replace my Kegerator freezer and found that the top I had made did not fit my new Freezer.
So my old top is available for free to anyone contemplating making a Kegerator
You will need to have a chest freezer that is 1020mm long x 597mm wide (+/- a few mm).
It is an Oak top that fixes to the top of the freezer and raises the lid by 108mm to permit the mounting of dispense taps, the lid is then screwed to the back of the oak frame and hinges as it previously did.
The frame consists of: 108mm high x 20 mm thick, jointed at corners. A separate oak fillet fits all way round the lower edge and clamps the frame to the freezer. There are 3 No. tap holes at the front and 3x holes at rear for gas lines. 2 No small holes drilled in rear for sensor and fan.
inside the frame is a 25mm layer of "Celotex".
A plastic trim is included that fits over the oak frame and insulation for the lid to seal on to.
It is available to collect from Bury St Edmunds or delivery could be arranged for a fee.
If there are no takers, I will take it to the dump in February.
