I assume the tap is at the bottom? I have never needed to use gas. They are like mini pressure barrels. I just vent the lid and pour away.

Hello again spook100.
Do you fill those 5l kegs with beer after fermentation and charge it at once or condition it then charge it??
Upto now i bottle and prime or use PBs.
The reason i ask and want to know is that i got a brewferm party star deluxe CO2 dispenser for my birthday.
Thanx in advance to you or anyone that explains.
I usually carbonate in a corny keg and then fill the 5l kegs from there as I need them. Altjough I have primed and conditioned on the mini kegs before and not had any problems.
A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

Thats it there.I`ve sussed more about it on youtube. It plunges into the top of the 5l keg then the beer is dispensed with the aid of a tap which is not attached on the photo. It seems a decent bit of kit but i think a little expensive but it was a gift.Sure i`ll gain experience from it
