CO2 in London

Post by zoot » Tue Mar 13, 2018 10:17 pm

Can anybody suggest a supplier of CO2 cylinders (the 3.5kg or 6.35kg ones preferably) who will either deliver to London or are within convenient collection distance? Many thanks for any help

I am in The south East and use Adams Gas. They delivered for me.

I noticed Adams Gas, but they charge £22+VAT to deliver to central London, which makes it infeasible. I've also looked at London Gas, but they won't reply to my emails.

To be honest I have stopped using gas and only bottle. I have four corny kegs that haven't been used for two years.

They were really good though, I would recommend them.

In case anyone else is thinking the same thing and watching for answers: I called London Gases in the end as I wasn't getting a reply to my emails. They do the 3.5kg and 6.35kg bottles. Both have the same deposit (I think it was around £48) and differ in cost to fill (I think it was around £20 and £30 respectively). But they also charge a bottle rental of £2 per month, which they initially subtract from the remaining deposit until it is exhausted, and then start invoicing monthly. The only upside is that delivery within London is free.
