This stuff is really, really RED! :D
Going to practice dosage amounts on one of my Super Clear Mango Graff! :D

Going to buy 3Kg Strawberries in Lidl (very cheap) tomorrow to make another Strawberry Pale Ale on Sunday! :D :D
Phwoar! Game On! Don`t you just love this Brewing thing! :D

Personally I wouldn't use food coloring, but this could be a pretty good experiment so be sure to report back on it.
There's a new malt available in the States called Red-x (not sure who makes it) that can be used up to 100% that's supposed to give a nice red color.
I'm just here for the beer.

That's it. I use some portion of Bestmaltz pilsner, munich, and/or Vienna in all my lagers.
I'm just here for the beer.

Made this Brew today.
1 Can Coopers Mexican Cerveza
1Kg Extra Light Spraymalt
500gr Demerara Sugar
25.1gr Simcoe, 28.2gr Chinook (mt the bag), boiled in 2Lts water for 5 mins.
SG @ 22deg 1050
Day 7 dry hop with 30gr Amarillo and whatever is left in Simcoe bag, approx 20gr.
Red colouring to be added at bottling stage! As you do! :D

Minor mishap.....Put the hops on to boil, sterilised strainer placed on top of FV, where is the muslin sheet to go in the strainer? bugger,
move the FV (with drill and mixer still in it), get saucepan out of cupboard, Aaaaaargh! the drill lead is on FIRE! FIRE! Kitchen now stinking of acrid smoke instead of the lovely Hop Smell that was there! :D #-o
Top Tip....Don`t put your drill lead next to a gas burner! It will go up in flames! :D [-X

Bottling Sunday when I will keep half the brew normal and the other half gets the RED addition! :D #-o

Put the RED colouring in 4Lts of Beer.
The beer is murky because I squeezed the hop bag Friday and Saturday.
Brilliant Hoppy smell to this beer, Fantastic taste, had 1/2 pint left over of the RED stuff, very weird drinking RED Hoppy Beer! :D
The Red stuff is odourless and tasteless, so hopefully it should be OK after fermentation! :D [-o<

This is a beer that is served in one of our town centre pubs, it's called Stonehenge Bitter.

Haven't personally tried it but one of my mates sent me this image last week.

Cheers
