Anyone used this? Any thoughts?
I was trying to get a Coopers IPA as I have heard nothing but good things about this kit, but no joy.
How to make this up? Additional hops? Light or Dark spray malt?
Coopers Real Ale

I haven't tried this particular one but like Brupaks kits i'd be pretty confident of making decent beer with it as the ingredients (including the yeast) are very good.
You wont go far wrong by boiling a small handfull of Goldings or similar (30g or so) to add flavour.
It's described on the Coopers website asSounds good to meBright golden colour with a strong head. Pleasant blend of fruit and malt on the nose with generous mouthfeel and a moderately bitter finish. A good example of a Coopers' Traditional Ale.
Daab, would you recommend some extra hops in all brews, I like the hop aroma and flavour but not to much bitterness.
