or you can make it to 16l (or something) then top up with water after the initial boom has calmed down ... apparently

i'm going to make mine to 21l with 830g light ( :( ) dme and 420g sugar (4.6%), i ran out of money for ingredients ( )

on the coopers "brewers guild" it advises 500g light dme and 300g dextrose strangely :?: , it would only come out 3.7% even after the silly amount of priming advised in the instructions ! (if you use 1kg of dme it's 4% after priming :? )

what a joke!

I didn't have a problem with EDME irish stout, but I have just bought a coopers and extra dark spray malt so thanks for the warning. One hell of a spew! I'm looking forward to it.

German built fish tank heaters, mate. Without them, in my room? I barely get any activity.

See, I now own four heaters and Five FV's. The one without a heater is a pitiful thing. It just sits there, looking sickly. Others, with the heaters in? They erupt like mental mole hills and I can be amongst them inside a week.

People ask; Is a fish tank heater really necessary? Pffftt! I'm just bored with repeating myself .....
