Great Hijack!
Did you know there are no Airline Pilots called Jack? The passengers didn`t like it when the Pilots met each other, Hi, Jack. Hi Jack! :D #-o
Anyway, where was I?
Oh, Yes. This is down to 1010. When I took off the Duvet, the water in the Trug felt REALLY hot. Thermometer said 21deg! (Cold in the shed)
Split brew this Sunday to do as said at start of thread before it got Hijacked! :D

Not sure if it counts as a tractor though.

Maybe they could just move this thread down to the Tap Room and retitle it the Tractor Thread?

Wales can restart a new thread about what ever it is he was on about Image

BQ; I don't think that qualifies as a Tractor, per se. But, what the f**k: Plant is good! Big, powerful sh!t

Look what I hired, recently!

Had it for the day. Got an eight cow pen here, attached to the stable. Concrete floor had gone to total rat sh!t. Then, I had a huge dung heap, over the gate. Whole lot needed dragging out and re concreting.

That bad boy made light work of it! Then, it scraped out the ground the manure had laid on and threw all the stones down, ready for the pours.

Ye really don't want to know what a full sized JCB costs for a day! Christ!!! But, there it is. It's done now. Ye wouldn't recognise the place. And it'll out last me, while making my life so incredibly much easier. No bad thing, at my age!

I've kept photo's all the way. Just a few gates to refit now and the horses can come back in and we can get on with Winter. Then, I'll publish the whole story on my Blog.

Just to get back on track(tor)!
Update for this Brew! :D
Not been long in the bottle but I had to `Taste Test` it!
Earl Grey........
Opens with a Wimpy Hiss, Great Taste of Coopers Stout!
Standing by the back door, No Hint at all of Earl Grey, but the Aromas coming through are awesome of something else!
Cigar Smoke, Cut Grass, Blue Comfort Fabric conditioner. Weird?
I called MrsAles to verify this and she said `You are smoking a cigar, you just cut the grass and the Tumble Drier is on wafting over you`! #-o
I thought I`d made something Special! :D :D :D :D

Vanilla Stout.....
Another Wimpy Hiss, Great smell on this away from the back door and all its` distractions.
Called on Rhys (Fosters Drinker) my No.1 Taster to have a slurp, I told him I added stuff and He said `Vanilla`.
I was impressed with his Tasting abilities and impressed that one Vanilla Pod could shine through a Coopers Stout! =D>
It is Bloody Lovely Mun! :D

And I made another one!!! :D
The last brew had a slight hint of cheap Tesco Earl Grey, the Vanilla brew was Bloody Lovely Mun! :D
1 Can Coopers Stout
1Kg Med Spraymalt
500Gr Demerara Sugar
38 Rooibos Earl Grey Tea bags steeped for 15mins in 1Ltr boiling water (me and Nicola used 2 Tea bags for a `Taste Test`) BLM!
Tea bags bought from H & B, so very Posh! :D
SG @ 22deg 1052
Should be a nice little session ale.
Day 7 I will Dry Hop (Tea Bags) with 40 Rooibos Earl Grey Tea bags! :D
Mmmmmm, Don`t you just love Earl Grey!

Certainly sounds interesting WA.

I used to laugh at Earl Grey drinkers, but after winning some Earl Grey loose tea leaves in a hamper at work, I'm hooked on the stuff.

Must be getting old!
