First Coopers Irish Stout.

Post by joconn » Sat Nov 26, 2016 6:43 pm

I`ve just purchased a Coopers I.S., a Muntons Brew Enhancer and a package of KreamyX priming compound. This is my first Coopers stout. Do I really need to add anything else to get a good tasty brew? I`m thinking about adding 250g of demerara sugar. All replys appreciated.

If its a first, id keep it standard, just so any future brews you can tell what the difference is.

Joe in Canada,
Read this little post, it might help........

Don`t use the Kreamy thing, 60gr sugar will suffice for batch priming.
I know you are doing an Irish Stout but it can`t be that much different to Ditch`s post. :D

Thanks for the advice. Brew on last night and bubbling away this morning.
Cheers, Joe.

+1 to 'doing a Ditch's'. It's good stout.
