Hi all,
Bought three kits the other day to crack on with replenishing stocks after Christmas. One of which is the Festival NZ Pilsner. I am struggling with what temp to ferment at.
The Yeast sachet says 'California Lager' so presumably 10-15 deg C but the instructions (which cover the other world beer kits - all ales) specify 20-25 deg C.
Any help with this would be appreciated as I want to get this going.
Cheers

From what I've read the kit instructions are correct but I would ferment in the cool side in an attempt to maintain a clean and crisp fermentation.

Yeah I was think of around 18-19 if they are right but don't wanna do that for a 'Lager Yeast'.

I was looking at the same yeast on ebay and that stated the same fermentation temps.
