Checked Beer because going to Cyprus Next day.
Very thin Pellicle on Beer surface. Used my fish net to scoop off all/most of pellicle.
Went to Cyprus.
Came back from Cyprus 3am today. Checked Beer 4pm, Mega Pellicle!!! :D
Beer smells OK, scooped off pellicle, tasted 1/4 pint (for research purposes only, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME) =D>
Tasted BLM! =D>

I've had a few brews that had formed a faint pellicle yet tasted awesome - the funky, more complex flavours of a wild yeast/mild infection is something that tastes even better than a 'clean' ferment.

The wonders of yeast eh?!

Bloody Hell Mun! :D :D
Just putting this in the Beer Fridge for the (obligatory) cool down, 2wks warm, 2wks cold, blah, blah, etc, etc.
So, let`s have a `Taster`.......
BLM to the nth degree! =D> =D>
Bit cloudy Hop Soup, who cares with a Beer as Smelly and Fine Tasting as this little beauty.

Wainie,
I would dry hop with 50gr of each.
I was going to say for 7 days but if you read orlando`s post near the bottom of this link,
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=82772,
they say 4 days is enough.
You don`t mind doing the experimental do you? :D

WA

Cobnut,
This post is 3yrs old. If I had your address, you would have had a bottle! #-o
