500gr Dem Sugar
Yeast in at 22deg

What is your opinion on the Wilkos Velvet versus the Coopers Stout? Is the Coopers a better Kit?

I've done both with minimum additions and prefer the Coopers. Stuck half a tin of treacle in the Wilko and the old man loved it.

0zzy,
The Coopers Kit is my go to kit because it never fails. (no heater, no temp control, FV in Trug with a Duvet to cover it,
no airlock, no peeking for 2wks).
I might peek after 3 days because this stuff spews everywhere and stinks if left too long! #-o
The Wilkos kit is good with additions. :D

Hello Everyone,
Put the Tea bags in the split Brew last Weds.
Took them out and bottled the Brew Yesterday.
The Rooibos Earl Grey smells and tastes BLM! :D
The Vanilla Chai smells and tastes even more BLM! :D There is an edge to this taste that is very hard to describe, VERY BLM! :D
Gaz, BB and MB, you will love the Vanilla Chai! =D>
Going to the `Enhanced Kit` thread now because Monkey is not liking His Earl Grey Stout! #-o
