So far:
Coopers lager kit
500g steeped crystal malt
500g light malt extract
500g brewing sugar
muntons ale yeast
tossed 50g Citra pellets into primary after a a few days and then left for a few more
transfered to keg with 60g brewing sugar
It's gassed up well but won't clear. I assume the warm weather is the problem. I had this kind of trouble last year.
I wondered about adding finings to the keg, but suspect it wohld produce a kitchen full of foam.
I don't have enough fridge space for the barrel.
Suggestions very welcome!
Thanks
Tony

Wait. Unless there's something wrong with it, it will clear (obviously more slowly at higher temperatures).
Re: How to clear Pale Ale Experiment?
Does it taste ok?. If yes then sod waiting for it to clear, tell anyone that wants to know that it is a NEIPA and drink it immediately.

Probably an hop haze that will never go..........
Some very popular heavily hopped ales have slight hazes so I wouldn't worry if it tastes ok.

Re: How to clear Pale Ale Experiment?
Thanks for your replies.
I thought I might literally be missing a trick, but not so.
It tastes nice. This is my third attempt at dry hopping a lager kit to make something more like a pale ale, and I think this is the most successful. The Citra hops seem to be enough to move it from being too thin to being light, if you see what I mean.
Thanks
Tony
