Decoction on Grainfather

Has anyone done a decoction using their Grainfather. Looking at trying to brew Kozel Dark and this lad has done a decoction using his GF, http://grainfatherweeklymash.blogspot.i ... shing.html

There's absolutely no reason you can't do a decoction with a grainfather at the end of the day it's just a boil kettle.
I've only skim read the article but I have been considering doing one in my new bulldog for a doplebock ive had planned for a while, but I think I might step mash it and take a couple of liters off of the first running and reduce it on the stove to get a molases to but back in like a scotish heavy might of been made ...
