The BOSSFather is born

Post by cqout » Sun Apr 09, 2017 3:09 pm

Ok - i don't brew or tinker over the winter as i have to brew outside but, the weather is beautiful so i have been cracking on and finished the BOSSFather is born - it is based on the brew boss but using a grainfather controller and a buffalo/element heating system. Once the water is nearly warm enough to i turn the buffalo off and let the grainfather controller take over - i has take water from 13 degrees to 60 in 25 minutes so happy with that and is pulling about 26 amp.

So far i have a cleaning cycle going ready to do a brew when i get another day off.

I hope you guys like it. See my pictures below

Very good, but doesn't it take up more space then the BM clone your selling?

What advantages to you expect it to deliver wrt the BM?

Hello - it takes about the same space - and does not really offer anything over my BM clone I'm selling. I just really enjoy the making and experimenting with the equipment!! Lol

Me to and it's an expensive pastime, I made a BM clone some time ago and recycled it into other systems.
Currently I'm building a Breweasy with a Grainfather constant head system in place of the Blitchmann Easy Sparge as it happens the outer shell will be made from some of the remains of my BM clone.
