Morning all
Not been on much this year due to new job, Uni, building brew shed and life in general, and only managed to brew twice this year too :naughty
whilst messing with Beersmith I somehow managed to delete my Grainfather profile and don’t trust the one that comes with Beersmith , would it be possible for someone to reply with there setting or send screen shots to my email ? ( venetian2008@gmail.com)
Thanks in advanced
Danny

Danny,
I realise this post is a few months old but do you still need the profile?

Re: Grainfather setting.
If you have one i would be interested in seeing it, I cannot get beersmith to tally up the water volumes.

Re: Grainfather setting.
Here's mine. It's set up for 27L brews so needs adjusting to suit your brew length. Disregard the 'Water top up for kettle' field it doesn't alter the calculations and is only really there for my reference. I don't use the Mash Tun settings either.
Best wishes
Dave

Re: Grainfather setting.
Thanks Dave I will give it a try, TBH I am not sure why I am bothering, I aim for 30litres pre boil and this gets me in or around 23 litres in the FV, so I just prepare 18 litres of sparge water and top up after sparging, its less stressfull that way efficiency so far has always seen me get a higher OG so liquoring back tops the FV up anyway.
Had a foam over last brew though first one, used pilsner grainfor the first time...must get a sprayer.
