There isn't an s Tesco. But the writer is refering to a store belonging to Tesco so it should have possesive apostrophe
followed by an s. And that's not pedantic.
Absolutely correct. So, in the original post we have to assume 'store' is silent.

Or perhaps the OP is using the word in the plural. It may have been many stores he had to go to in order to buy 31 cucumbers.

Wonder how the wine's doing?

Genius response! Avtovaz, you are a master of the ironic.

So, what's happened to all those cucumbers in the must? All mushy now? Smelling good?

You do seem to be able switch from one form of written English to another. Is that not a touch of genius. =D>
Certainly from your original post it would have seemed highly unlikely that you would have known the meaning of the word (sic) trate

just been to tescos and they had cucumbers for £0.02 so i bought 31!

can anyone suggest how to brew for them please?

thanks
This is a bit pedantic, but there's no 'S' on Tesco.

Guy

There is an s in Tesco, there just aren't two, except in the case IPA highlights, or maybe when referring to more than one branch. Not sure if that's pedantic or not
Best wishes

Absolutely. What I meant to say, and have now edited my post, was 'there's no s on the end of Tesco'. These little things matter and I'm distraught that I typed my original comment incompletely.

If only there was some cucumber wine here then these silly mistakes wouldn't happen.
