KenRidge and California Connoisseur Kits

Post by JohnnyD » Tue Jul 21, 2015 9:02 am

Good Morning

Does anyone know? I have ordered one of each of these kits now, the odd thing is, they look exactly the same inside, same yeast, same finings, same instructions (even on the same coloured paper) Are they the same, just rebadged? one is more expensive than the other, so unless the quality of grape juice is different? I have just been ripped off :(

If you look at the instructions you'll see they're generic. They'll say things like use x at this point (If supplied) and (white wines only). The wine yeast will be a reasonable quality general purpose (LV1118 I believe) job that can work across a range of temperatures. The juice will be the main difference.
