It could be, one issue I can think off is lack of pressure causing air to be sucked into the barrel. Once that happens you'll need to drink it on a day or two. Over all its not really recommended and pubs/bars have only just started having wine on tap, if you're looking for high density storage bag in a box type deals are the best way to go. I think they are called polypins but I'm unsure.

I did already answer that griff, if its carbonated then it could be fine, but if its flat then I wouldn't suggest it.
