Irn bru turbo cider
Hi I'm brewing irn bru cider in a dj but it's been on a week and still no bubbling sugars just sitting in the demijohn I've boiled the irn bru so it was flat any ideas?

First off, welcome to the forum.
I'm going to move this from the Guestbook forum to the Cider Making forum as you're more likely to get an answer there - in the meantime it's worth checking the basics - have a look at this page (though it's written for beer wort, you can apply it to any fermentation).

The boiling isn't to make it flat, it's to get rid of the preservatives. In the case of Irn Bru, that's sodium benzoate. It's a fairly stable molecule, the boiling point of Irn Bru may not be enough to denature it. You can try making a starter yeast colony so that when you pitch you overpower it by sheer weight of numbers, maybe

I just added brewing sugar to the batch 6 hours ago and its started fermenting so it smells not bad so hopefully it will turn out right
