Test-driving the new press

Well, not entirely new, but thanks to postings here I got my finger out this summer and made a new juice trap and new press racks for my existing press. Yesterday my son and I had a bit of a monster session pressing some eating apples for juice. Here's a pic of the press in action:

So, hopefully we're good for pressing cider apples later this month...

Very nice, and the bottle jack has more than enough uummmph, to squeeze the juice
