Turbo cider clearing time

Post by sonicated » Thu Dec 22, 2016 4:07 pm

I made some Turbo Cider (supermarket apple juice, S-04 yeast and strong tea) back in June and although very drinkable weeks after kegging it wasn't clear, 6 months later however it has finally cleared. Usually they clear within days for me.

I'm ready to make another batch - is there anything I can do to stop this happening again?

I crash cooled the last one I did, seemed to work but I don't have huge amounts of experience with cider

What juice did you use? The cloudiness in most cloudy juices are produced by heat treatment and is very stable, very hard to clear.
My TCs normally clear in two weeks at most

I used Tesco Everyday Value Apple Juice which is clear.

Odd. Have you used S04 with no trouble before?
I've been getting nice results with Muntons Gold
