Here are two pics of a 23 ltr carboy of a heather mead at 9 weeks and second racking. The label is at the back of the carboy and you are viewing it through the mead. The one is particularly clear at 9 weeks and has had no clarification treatment.This batch has cleared exceptionally quickly compared with other meads I have brewed. Taste wise it is okay but will improve with time. Yeast was Mangrove Jacks and initial fermentation took about 24 days. OG 1.102 FG 1.000 ish.
