Let us know how it ages and matures...
Something I've noticed with my TTL with extra Bobek hops in it was that after coming to its Matured date it has slowly mellowed and changed quite considerably.
I wondered if Styrian Stunner will also change quite a bit.

Another thumbs up for Styrian Stunner! =D> Who created this recipe? It's fantastic! My beer isn't even kegged yet, but the smell and taste is utterly gorgeous! The best beer I have made by far.... and it's not even matured yet!

Any comments on making this with Nottingham?

I started off with White Labs WLP 007... after 10 days it got stuck and wouldn't get past 1.018 - even with regular rousing! So pitched Nottingham to finish it off and it dropped to 1.012 overnight. So I kind of ended up with a hybrid yeast thing going on. I'm impressed with Nottingham though - I've used it (through choice or necessity!) in my last 3 brews and it's done very well. :)

Yeah theres no hassle with Nottingham, I was just wondering how much difference there would be in taste with the WLP as opposed to the Nottingham. After 8 brews I think I now know what kind of taste the Notts is leaving behind as I can pick out the same characteristic in all my beers.

I should be bottling my Styrian Stunner tomorrow. I forgot to add some irish moss so I've a feeling it's going to be cloudy. #-o

Hmmm now I come to think about it I might try this recipe with a load of Saaz I have hanging about as they are a very low AA content hop....

Well I needn't have worried, the Styrian Stunner has cleared rather well and tastes lovely. 8)

Tasted this one young about 10 days after i bottled it and was disappointed that it tasted rather lager like:(

Have not gotten as far as sampling it 4 weeks on though. I hope it is more ale like. I pitched some salvaged Notty in this one and it went totally nuts, I like notty very much.

If this one is like a lager then i'll change things around next time and add some carapils of crystal to give t a little more " ale like " taste.
hiopefully though, i'll be pleasantly surprised when i crack the first bottle open in the next week or so.
