There doesn't seem many hops in the Citra gold or am I being stupid?

You're right, it's relatively mild. Citra is high-alpha, so a little goes a long way.

Love citra gold , but bought some bitter orange today form the malt miller, would that have the same effect as Orange?,If so how much should I add ?

Sadly not got any magnum hop s got pretty much everything else in (columbus challenger admiral galena etc) . Any suggestions to what to use ?

In terms of the peel am i litrally peeling an orange n lobbing the skin in could i do it with a graprfruit too ? How much orange peel we taking any varities ?

Love Citra gold as well. I used the zest of one large orange and the zest of half a large grapefruit. Using zest makes it pop a bit more imho.

Following the success of Citra Dark I have just ordered the ingredients for Citra Gold and El Rey APA as I have 300g of Citra to go through anyway :).

Now to make a decision for which one to brew on Friday!
