I've fallen in love with this lager - does anyone have an idea of a recipe to clone it please?

They always put quite a lot of info on their website which is handy

ABV:
4.7%
OG:
1043
IBU's:
40
Malts:
Pilsner Malt, Munich Malt, Caramalt
Hops:
Hallertauer Hersbrucker, Saaz, Columbus

As for yeast, Saflager w34/70 probably

I'm not sure of the hopping, I assume they use columbus for bittering then lots of the german and czech ones for flavour and aroma

lager for five weeks

I've never had it, might try a bottle now. I wasn't too impressed with their other two lager efforts, Fake and 77

Heres one I threw together based on the info on BD's website:

http://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/r ... us-pilsner

No idea if its any close but I'll give it a go one day.

purists always say go for at least 90 minutes boil to 'drive away DMS' is that not a worry with pilsner malt?

My bohemian pilsner hoose to go is remarkably similar .......

Final IBU under 40, Target abv 5%

Pilsner 80%, Munich 12%, CaraGold 4%, CaraPils/Dex 4%
Columbus or Perle or whatever to 30ibu FWH/90m
Perle @ 20m for 5ibu
Saaz @ 5m 25g/20L
Hersbruker @5m 25g/20L

Yeast, whatever slurry I can get, happy to use S-23 or whatever..........
