I've had a play with a couple of different pale Coopers kits, and the Canadian Blonde kit has come out the best, based on their supplied IBU & EBC figures.Jim wrote:
For the kit version, again I'm relying on someone familiar with the currently available kits stepping up to help.
I have also used Beer Engine to generate the recipe below -
JBK Summer Quaffer (Kit Recipe) - 23L
1 x 1.7kg Coopers Canadian Blonde Kit
1.4kg of Extra Light or Light DME or 1.65kg of Light LME
400g of Pale Crystal Malt 60EBC
20g of Cascade 8.6%AA (based on Maltmiller 2015) @ 15mins
20g of Goldings 5.7%AA @ 0mins
Beer Engine Says -
1.047 OG (I normally get an actual OG 1-2 points lower than BE projects)
34 IBU
16 EBC
Hope this helps
Cheers
