Admiral/Pilgrim Recipe Request

Post by cerbera84 » Thu Sep 28, 2017 8:33 pm

Evening,

Does anyone have a recommended recipe for an admiral/pilgrim hop combo?

I have about 4.5kg pale, 300g Crystal 20 and 400g torrefied wheat and I would like to brew with these hops this weekend.

Cheers,

Ben
Planning: BrewEasy system build; possibly a Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold clone

I've come up with this recipe:

I've read that Admiral is better as a bittering hop, with Pilgrim dual purpose but also good for aroma...

Brewing this tomorrow so any last minute comments welcome!

Here's mine...
For 21L
3.10kg Pale Malt
0.28kg Crystal
0.21kg Flaked Barley

Mash at 64c for 1 hour

20g Admiral for 60 minutes
30g Pilgrim for 20 minutes
30g Pilgrim for 15 minutes
15g Admiral for 15 minutes

Yeast was Danstar Nottingham.
